I've worked on cars and machines for over 25 years. One thing I've learned... stuff always breaks. Always.
Which is EXACTLY why it is important to learn how to fix the stuff in your life. Some projects are more difficult than others, but doing it yourself sure can save you a lot of money. Whether you want to learn how to do major repairs for a fraction of the cost or just learn some basic level maintenance, I hope you'll find these videos helpful.
You can do this.

5 things you PROBABLY didn’t know an “air hammer” to do
Переглядів 264 тис.3 роки тому
Most people know what an air hammer is, there’s a lot of people that don’t know the full potential of how these simple tools can make your life a lot easier. There’s a lot of attachments that you can get for these. There’s the basic chisel that everybody’s probably cut metal with. But some designs are better than others. You can get hammers of all different sizes and materials. You can get a pi...

"UNCONVENTIONAL” exhaust fix that WORKS (even in front of the catalytic converter) LOW COST
Переглядів 76 тис.4 роки тому
LOOKING for a low-cost way to fix your exhaust system? The most challenging exhaust fix is from the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold. The temperatures are too high for most typical materials. The only material suitable is refractory cement. The big problem with this cement... it's brittle as glass. It is also very challenging to weld a hole shut on an exhaust system because the steel...
removing the NASTIEST rusty bolts (the right TOOLS and TECHNIQUES)
Переглядів 903 тис.4 роки тому
Rusty bolts are never fun, having the right tools and understanding the techniques to break the rust off without seizing the bolt is extremely important. This technique is one that most people commonly do not understand. By not understanding that you can compact the rust inside you can continue to push until you snap the bolt, which causes a lot of heartache. SUPPORT MY CHANNEL FOR "FREE" - vis...

WHY smoke test is better than a high pressure test
Переглядів 43 тис.5 років тому
I LIKE using a smoke test to find a leak a lot better than using a high pressure test. If your Turbo has a boost problem a high-pressure test is normally what you do. I have found that any hard to find leak is useful to start with a smoke test. FIX almost any switch for pennies
Переглядів 5 тис.5 років тому
I find it’s easier to FIX a broken switch than trying to FIND the right replacement switch to order. Then you still have to wait for it to arrive (hopefully it’s the right one) and then replace it. Almost every industrial switch is made the same way and fails the same way. There are contacts made out of silver, and after turning on and off the machine so many times these contacts become pitted....
WHY you want to check your PCV valve regularly
Переглядів 427 тис.5 років тому
FORGETTING to check your PCV valve is really easy to do. The job of the PCV valve is to regulate unburned fuel mixture back into your engine so there is less pollution. If the PCV valve malfunctions, you can throw too much unburned fuel and oil right onto your intake manifold valves. When you see the valves in this video because the PCV valve went bad you want to run out to your car and check i...

This is very helpful. I changed brake pads and discs on my car 2 months ago because one of the pads destroyed the disc when in got stuck and got worn out quickly. But it happened again on the new disc and the same pad. Now I know what the reason is, because I remember it was difficult to get that specific pad in to the position. That mistake cost me alot of money because those were really good rotors that got destroyed.
Don’t do this !!!!
The name?
Shove a 1 1/2" pvc pipe in there and screw it in.
This is cosmetic and does nothing for strength.
The internet is doomed.
They certainly do come in handy. I like the sheet metal cutting attachment. Zips through 1/16" aluminum with some cutting oil so it doesn't gall. I also made an attachment once once with a hollow tube on the end. It holds number punches for marking steel.
very helpful even 6 years later
🎉❤
You dont need to unscrew the spring, just push it out the way
Crap. Now what am I going to do with my PB Blaster, Kroil, Liquid Wrench, and Knock'er Loose? Well, those never really worked, which is why I have so many of them. Very nice video. Thanks for posting. It take time to make a good video and you really did make a good one.
100 % Pfusch ! Schaum saugt Wasser an und die Karre rostet 3 mal so schnell wie vorher ! Absoluter Bullshit !!!!
LOL - He's stupid. he wouldn't need to go thru this if is true - just change the oil more frequently. No thumps up for wrong advice.
omg i hope this is a joke.. don't do this people
WOW! Nice job on the video. Great information.
Now this is a terrible gypsy fix!!! No one in their right mind would sit in a car "repaired" like this! Such holes can only be replaced with new sheet metal and welded. Also, it is questionable how a car rusted like this will crumple in a car crash!
Wow this video is the best 👍👍👍
I hope this is just the info I need. I’m trying to install a hitch receiver with the already existing bolts
Bullshit. Vollidiot
Okie thanks am about to number 4
I bought an air hammer about 10 years ago and used it once or twice for ball joints & stuff. Then I bought a school bus to convert to a toy hauler RV. Bus bodies are held together with thousands of rivets. I was sure happy to have my air hammer with the curved chisel bit to cut them off and the pointy bit to drive the rest out.
So what about a 2007 Audi A4?
Does this guy have any idea what he's doing to his bearing and piston rings?😅
Imagining you looking at it like a hawk👁️👁️😄
I had to look at the comments because I couldn’t believe what this guy was doing. Either he works for the big wig dealers to get people to destroy their cars so they have to go and buy new ones…. Or he’s doesn’t know what he is doing. Either way, nobody should ever attempt this unless they are trying to destroy their engine.
Thank you so much!
Fantastic video. Systematic, logical, clear, with an ingenious, dead simple fix to boot. Thank you.
How to destroy an engine
Very interesting, thanks 👍
I’ve seen that shake and break attachment, but I’m so torn on it. Does it really work that well? I don’t know anyone personally that has it.
where did you attach the pressure gauge? Is that the same location for all cars? I have a 99 volvo v70.
Just wondering how many novices of viewers got screwed from watching this video and copying what you did?! This foam acts as a sponge. It absorbs moisture and retains it. If you live in an area where they apply road salt, this foam you applied retains salty water in the rocker panels, which means that you are speeding up the rust process...daaah! Thumbs down for this video for sure.
Negative it’s closed cell foam it won’t absorb water
Bet it sure as heck doesn’t hammer air.
once it starts sticking to the roof of the PCV housing its basically time to replace. when the engine's running, the stuck valve won't be able to pull down with the vacuum. From a Renault scenic owner 😉
Bad montage us threshold rebuild . Real cut and weld metal threshold moldings new
Great Informative video 👍

You can Diesel Engine oil like Shell Rimula T6 or Shell Rimula Ultra for example to slowly but surely and the safest way to flush your car or bike engine. Never sure kerosine you will destroy your seal
Stop buying chinca stuff, this practice, is what’s wrong with this industry, people, thanks BigAl California.
You can use the socket adapter with a deep well socket to drive in 8 ft grounding rods in a minute.
They’re like 2 cents..
Never ever ever listen or do this. Ever
Ok..Error Code Guy..That explains this...
Very informative video. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Thanks for sharing your experience
❤😊
WTF? HAHAHAHAHAH
Cut them fingernails my guy
Thumbs up for sure. Just one thing I asked in return. Can you please tell me what if my vehicle is designed not to have a check valve in the pump? Does that mean the slow crank has to either be fuel injectors or pressure regulator?
